They make it possible to cultivate fish and plants under optimal conditions and to process the water in further stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With regard to aquaponics research, we were able to follow the emergence of an interesting scientific work that deals for the first time with the system design of a decoupled aquaponic facility (DAPS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Publication<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<em>\u201eNavigating towards Decoupled Aquaponic Systems: A System Dynamics Design Approach\u201c<\/em>deals with the question of what a possible system design of a decoupled aquaponic facility could look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Decoupled aquaponic facilities are characterized by the fact that they are operated with 2 or more decoupled circuits. In addition, there is the anaerobic stage via UASB \/ EGSB bioreactors, which was also included in the proposal for the plant design. This design has several advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The individual circuits create the optimal conditions for each culture<\/li><li>Better adaptation of the water parameters to the different fish and plant cultures<\/li><li>Anaerobic stage in the nutrient treatment via UASB \/ EGSB, for additional mineralization of the process water<\/li><li>Concentration of the nutrients in the water to achieve a high nutrient density<\/li><li>It is possible to supplement the aquaponic solution with additional plant nutrients<br><br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2073-4441\/8\/7\/303\/htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The work is available here free of charge and in full.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abgekoppelte AquaponikEin wichtiger Teil unserer Aktivit\u00e4t ist die Forschung an abgekoppelten Aquaponik-Systemen.
